Biography: Harry Kim was born in 2349 in South Carolina on Earth. He joined Starfleet Academy in 2366. While attending the Academy, Kim was the editor of the Academy newsletter, and reported on of the first activity of the Maquis againsts the Cardassians. Shortly after his graduation in 2370 on stardate 47918, Kim was posted on the USS Voyager. In early 2372, Kim accidently piloted a shuttlecraft through a timestream, sending him to a timeline in which he had not been posted on Voyager and lived on Earth. In this reality Kim earned the Cochrane Medal of Excellence, and designed the USS Yellowstone NX-74751. With the help of the alternate Tom Paris, Kim used the Yellowstone to return to his original reality. Later that year during an explosive decompression of the ship caused by a spatial scission, Kim was killed after being blown into space. A duplicate Kim from the alternate Voyager joined the original Voyager to replace his dead counterpart. At this point the original Harry Kim died and since replaced with an exact duplicate. Other than serving as the Operations Officer, Kim helped design the Astrometrics Lab with Seven of Nine.
