Biography: Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero One was born Annika Hansen in 2348 at the Tendara colony on stardate 25479. Her parents were noted xenobiologists. The Hansen's departed DS-4 in the Omega Sector in 2356 onboard the USS Raven on an expedition to investigate the Borg in the Delta Quadrant. The Raven was taken into B'omar space in the Delta Quadrant through a transwarp conduit by a Borg ship. The Raven crashed and Annika and her parents were assimilated. In early 2374, Seven of Nine was assigned to led a team of Borg drones on Voyager to aid in battle against Species 8472. The Borg were killed when trying to assimilate Voyager, and the nearby Borg cube was destroyed. Seven of Nine was the only drone to survive, and after being disconnected from the collective her human physiology began to reassert itself. The Doctor and Kes were able to remove most of her Borg implants, and used dermaplastic grafts and follicle stimulation to give her a more human appearance. She still considers herself Borg, and perfers to be called Seven instead of Annika. Seven, being part Borg, requires the use of her regenerative alcove. Initially Seven rejected her individuality, but soon found the prospect of reassimilation unappealing and helped Voyager fight the Borg. In 2374, her nanoprobes fused with and assimilated the Doctor's mobile emitter, creating an advanced 29th-Century drone who named himself One. Working with Ensign Kim, they created the Astrometrics Lab together using Borg technology. Her knowledge of Borg technology came to an later advantage when building the Delta Flyer.
